The good times lasted a week. Service Stabilitrak was back...haunting me again tonight. I hate seeing my dash board light up. This is so frustrating. Anyone know anything about the Texas Lemon Law?

Also, one thing I've noticed is most of the time Service Stabilitrak comes on in cold weather. Tonight was the first night since the wheel sensor replacement that was in the 50's and boom, back on. Do you think the temperature could be causing the malfunction?

When I changed my wheels this used to happen to me when I got speeds over 50 Mph. Mine had to be reprogrammed, took like 4 hours.

Could the ecm be getting bad information in cold weather because of my airaid cai? Would that trigger service stabilitrak?

Ok, well the temperature finally fell again in Texas and no Service Stabilitrak. Maybe this shows the problem resolved itself?

I got that message on my 2012 2LT after driving it around a few turns at Lowe's Motor Speedway... Slowly :(. OnStar did a diagnostic and said that it was most likely because of the banking. It did reset after a few restarts though.

Why did Chevy make a warning message that literally has hundreds of potential causes? Most of them unrelated?? It seems to negate the benefit of the message....

And thanks for the input judgemeister!

I tapped into a ground wire and my service stabilitrack came on. I took out the tap and grounded directly to the frame and it went away. This could be from something not grounding right in cold weather especially from the harnesses.

Where would I look for faulty grounds? The previous owner installed the CAI so I don't know how it was installed.

Just wanted to give everyone an update...I have contacted GM about my situation and they have proactively begun assisting me. GM contacted my dealer and set up an evaluation meeting with the head of the service department. Things are happening much more quickly now, but unfortunately the problem has still not been resolved. Again, GM is now working with me on this issue and hopefully we will come to a solution soon.

Only 14k miles on my car, I will be taking it in for the 4th time this week for this same issue. Maybe I should contact GM customer service first.

Only thing GM is going to do is just WTF the dealer and make suggestions.. i had electrical issues with my V6 and they wouldnt buy it back or let me trade.. they exhaust all avenues before they do that stuff.. dont bet on some divine intervention.. ive learned 3 times not to have high hopes..

What ended up happening? Did you ever attempt to use the Lemon Law?
