Went and looked and it was on different days....not back to back. We need to see same outing before and afters....3 runs before, and 3 runs after.

I can run 1-3 tenths different between track days. Do it on the same outing!!!!

Which brings up the big question I asked in the Drag Racing section... The runs from this Power Wedge at the track are DA corrected, and compared... Is there any validity to comparing DA corrected times on different days?

Omg! I just typed a big ole explanation and my browser crashed. Damnit. Anyway. I misunderstood him on the phone. Might have has something to do with my three sons being rowdy in the car while I was talking to him. I thought he said he did the runs on the same day. Evidently not. It would almost be impossible to do it that way if vararam states you have to do a relearn. He even told me that as soon as he put the wedge in and tried to punch it, it bogged. So back to back runs are a no go anyway. Is the correction factor not good enough?

I used this website to get the corrected times

Thats a good calculator, but there are other variables so we need to see same day, same track, etc. but your input is good! Thanks!!

Of notable mention is the day the wedge was run has worse weather/da conditions. It still ran 2.05 mph higher. I think it trapped a higher mph than he ever has. To me, that speaks volumes.

Yup our cars are going to fly with this piece of plastic. Even if you get the full 10 hp out of this thing the likely hood of seeing anything measurable amount at the track is close to 0.
Don't get me wrong i order one for myself but i don't expect to see any huge gains in any way. Maybe 0.001s at the track.

Got the wedge today and installed it. Going to drive it around this evening to let it learn a bit. Took 5 min to install.

Wait. What? Your gonna let it relearn? Well according to some Internet know-it-alls, you should have to. Hmmmm. That's just weird. Surely these guys low what they are talking about. Lmao

Da calculators are a good tool, but without the same car running on the same track for a minimum of 3-5 runs into a ET predictor weather station such as this:

http://www.racingjunk.com/Electronic...r-Station.html

to have any accurate comparison...and that includes trap speed.

So we cant use his comparison even though it is great he did this.

Dyno on the same day and or track on the same day & same conditions.

And this is not just an opinion, if you dont know our background, we have a lifetime of professional drag racing here...not track test & tune, but ESPN, NHRA & IHRA Championship drag racing with thousands and thousands of runs and ET predicting.
