Tap shift on the stick

I've seen the pistol grip with buttons on the side but want something more like this one from the 2013 Malibu. Anyone know if this could be made to work in the Camaro?

I like what's in the Cruze better.

The Malibu's seems so awkward to use...

But to answer your question, probably not without a ton of work.

I agree with IBM it just dosn't feel the same to push a button as opposed to moving the whole gear shift. I can't see the pistol grip or the cruz type being very easy to use in any kind of sport setting

The malibu and cruze shifter will not work in the camaro. You would be surprised at how comfortable and ergonomic the pistol grip shifted is, I guarantee it 100% or your money back no questions asked. Try it you'll like it

Had to get a rental for my wife because her pos mercury is in the shop... Again!

Couldn't believe the latest ford explorer has tap shift on the knob. Not saying I want this since it is still a ford product but I want something very close to this. I think it is better on the side rather than the top like the Malibu.

That one I would do....buttons are smaller and the shifter is sleek. I know a Ford part would be hard to adapt to GM vehicles, but GM has other shifters with tap shift buttons on the side that could be retrofitted to the Camaro. I know nothing about electronics so hoping someone with more knowledge could pipe in with some suggestions.

How about a white ball with 2 red buttons and it does not have to say Camaro on it any where! = and a third black one for the line lock ! that would be a hand full
