Ok, two people have taken up (or were able to enjoy the benefit of, unaware of his awesome offer) Terryble on his offer and have received a bonus ticket with their entry!

EIGHT MORE READY TO GO!

Actually, I'm a little confused. I wrote a new one last week thinking that it would be better to talk about the raffle first and have pictures of the CAI unit too. It worked, but now I can't find that thread! This was the one I opened first... no worries.

Looks like the mods combined threads. i was wondering about the retitle myself. Once I saw this I went back to the first page, and both of the origibal posts are there.

Technically, I don't have a problem with you making 8 more donations in a row to pick up the rest of Terry's awesome offer. But, unless you do $50 each time, you wouldn't be leveraging the full discount rate that $50 gets you! And if you did donate the $400 - that along with Terry's offer would certainly get you a big chunk of the tickets! Why? Because honestly not as many have sold as I would have imagined would sell by now :(

Swan Crying.

There's a ton of other donation threads on this site that people are crazy about donating to.. But not to cancer?

I'll bump this thread any day to keep it at the top.

Honestly and objectively: Yes, it is It's hard to convey to people what it's like to go to a place where they know what's up when your child is sick. That's what the Jimmy Fund Clinic is to many people and they know what's up and what to do because they have the brightest and best researching it. This isn't a regional thing - though most people in the New England area know about Dana Farber, they also share their discoveries with the medical community across the world (and vice versa).

Plus... YOU MIGHT WIN A CAI from CAI! I have it in the corner of my room and I look at it often - it's making me drool...

Overflow, greatly appreciate the support. I'm amazed at the volume of traffic on this site, I'm sure that's a big factor (keeping it at the top and visible, without stepping on toes of course). Sadly, also, this is what I'm running into this year it seems. There are phony charities around and in particular the news had some recent stories about people raising money in the name of "kids with cancer", only to be discovered to be fake. It's hideous and there's not much I can do, other than to present the validity of what I am doing and let people do their own research as well
