I am thinking about going and my buddy might come with his 3 series.

So what I gather is it's $240 for the day, you need a helmet, proper clothes, and need your car inspected prior?

To answer some of your questions, yes you have to have a helmet, they rent them at the track, if you need 1.

Yes you must have your car inspected, you can do the inspection yourself, the forms are on there website.

Proper clothing is a must, long sleeve shirts, pants, closed end shoes. no shorts or flipflops.
The contactperson at the track is Sylvia 803-475-5006..

Ok........looks like they have gotten rid of the early bird fee all together since the beginning of the year.

The fee is actually $275, I was going to send in my money today, but I don't think I want to spend that much for a one day event. Sorry Michael, have fun out there.

I am going to save up my money for the fall, when you guys organize another event for the SE group

Michael, sure wish I could have made it but work and Federal Jury Duty ( on call till mid August ) has all but ruined my summer. I will be at the Talladega Grand Prix 10/10/10 for sure though. Ed M.

The CMP track was very fun to drive, but very HOT....I look forward to seeing you and your son again..

Any time my friend, and maybe i can join you out there next time. I'll second that on the cooler weather. Tire's....hmmm....need some way to haul some "go to hell" tire's up there.
