And on the site you can get all 5 colors in the hockey strpes . Am confussed and frustrated.
Nevermind about that Chevy site - it's just a sales tool that seems to be out of date. If you REALLY want to know what you can and can't order with your Camaro, go to your dealer and attempt to order it through their workbook ordering system - if you ordered a 2LT or 2SS, you will be able to order the RPO CGM or white rally stripes. Please remember that LS, 1LT and 1SS cars cannot get factory installed stripes.

Ask your paint mixer to put a flatening agent in the clear coat.

Above about says it all. If your dealer had mistakenly selected LS, 1LT or 1SS as the model, factory stripes would not show up on his screen.

Seriously, go over to your dealer and ask him to open your order in Workbook. Look for the RPO number, not the LPO number. The option is not in the same spot as the dealer installed stripes.

He, (and everyone else associated with GM) should be licking your boots. GM is going to announce the initial round of dealership closures. He should be thankfull he still has a job! Make sure you are watching the oder entry screen when he is doing his updating.

And he slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Damn that made me laugh, Hylton. You do come up with some good ones! This no RPO stripes in the Camaro builder is a real pain in our butts, isn't it? I don't know how many times each of us has had to explain that F' up. Patiently waitin' for your good news.

Don't know if it was mentioned but here is a warning on stripes. The '97 camaro came with stripes but these were not available within just a few years. Of course I wish I would have ordered a set then because of chips and other issues. The aftermarket ones you buy may not be the same size or color. So, buy at least an extra front set before it's too late.
