Camarovan from the South

Who all is planning on driving up to the fest from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, SC, Alabama, Tennessee? We are getting the Texans together to cruise from Dallas to Memphis on the first day. Then on the second day we plan to go from Memphis to Louisville to Indianapolis. I will post the Texas schedule when we have a little more set in stone. If you are organizing a caravan for your state we really want you to be able to join in with us and hopefully meet us in Memphis. If your route does not cross us until Louisville we would love to meet there to join all the caravans together. To the organizers... PM me and I will stay in touch with you and let you know our schedule as we develop it so that we can can all work together to make this happen. As I get schedules in from the other states I will post them here so that everyone knows where we stand

Texas: To break up such a long first day I will be setting up a deal with a hotel in Rockwall for that monday night. We will all meet at a restaurant (TBA) on that next tuesday morning and eat then be on the road to Memphis. We'll stay the night there at a hotel we can get a group rate at (TBA), and to meet up with more C5F3 goers. On Wednesday morning we will depart from Memphis to Louisville to meet with more of our camaro family and then on to Indianapolis. I will have more information on the step by step details of the trip as we get them set in stone.


As it stands now the Southeast Caravan will be meeting with us in Louisville. Meeting time and place will be announced at a later date.

Could end up being pretty large groups in Nashville & even larger in Louisville if we all coordinate. I offered Music City Camaro Club's help coordinating a meeting place in Nashville & Central Kentucky Camaro Club to coordinate for Louisville. I am event coordinator for both groups so feel free to keep in touch if you want to make this a massive Camarovan!

I think we are goning through nashville to louisville and meeting up aith the south east caravan. we would love to have the MCCC's and the CKCC's help to make the gatherings in both cities go smoothly. Im not sure who all will be joining in Nashville though. Texas and Louisiana are meeting in Memphis and when the mississippi group gets a cruise lined out ill be offering them a formal invite to the memphis overnight as well. So we may all be together by memphis and just need the MCCC gang to join us and then on to Louisville for the BIG gathering.

Just keep us posted. There will be quite a few of us gathering in Nashville I suspect. Then another group will likely gather in Bowling Green and a third group in Louisville. Those are our usual rally points anyway. We have quite a few locals in the Louisville area & a few are already signed on for the trip. Just let us know what we can do to help.

I'm building my map (coming from NorCal, but driving with the SoCal guys) and that seems like a nice place to meet up because it's only 4 hours out of our way. From Little Rock we'd be with you guys the rest of the time. I wanted to meet in Fort Smith but that adds to much time to both of our routs. Let me know if i need to make any changes, the HUGE link below leads you to my map. Take a look and make changes if need be.

What day are you thinking of gettingg into Indianapolis... I've had some questions about it and while I was thinking about arriving Wed eve, there are some folks talking about arriving up there Thursday... Let me know what you guys are thinking... Thursday is apparently designed more for the Mods and Vendors to set up, though arriving on Wed eve to me gives a free day to visit and see others without worrying about doing things... and that may be a day for me to go to Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Museum...

While I would love to havee you guys join us, it is quite a bit out of the way for you... From OK City, you could go straight up through St Louis and into Indy... Having said that, again, I would love to meet up and roll with the Left Coasters...

Heck, with you guys and everyone else we could have well over 100 Camaros rolling into Indiana...
