My ride was a 2004 XLR (Nieman Marcus Edition)! I gladly sold the XLR and am moving on to the Camaro ....TPW 11/23/09.....I have a VIN# ...it will not be long.

The Camaro replaced my 2006 Infiniti fx35. Don't miss it. It was a nice car, but I am glad to have a manual transmission again.(really missed it) I agree with the above posters and miss the backup camera. The Infiniti definitely had a lot of tech toys, but I am impressed with what is in the 2SS for being a sports/muscle car. I won't ever look back. The Camaro is the most enjoyable car I have ever owned. I don't see that wearing off either.

I had an M35 Sport Infiniti. About the only things I miss about the M are the cooled seats, push button ignition start and maybe the Nav system. However, I like the build quality and the ride quality on my Camaro much better than the M's. I also think that it has better road noise isolation than the M and the seats are far more comfortable. The performance and handling with my Camaro is also far more exilerating! The Camaro is all muscle. The M is attractive but no where close to the styling of the SS Camaro.

I had a G35 coupe and G35 sedan. Too boring, used premium fuel, lower gas mileage, less hp, and styling was too rounded and boring. Also couldn't see the hood while driving.

I've had a Lexus IS250,Infiniti G35S sedan and G37S coupe and have not looked back! Of course, my last car was a 'Vette so this is like a 4seat 'Vette to me!

Two different worlds. Having owned many different kinds of cars, I buy them for different reasons. You want fun, performance, status, hobby car, or what? Ask youself why you want a Camaro and the choice will be apparent. There is no perfect one car, just like there is no perfect one boat... That's why we all need big garages so we can have them all!

BMW 530I to 2LT. No comparison engine wise. BMW's straight 6 is a marvel compared to the V6. Do also miss the I drive.

I had a 3 series but I don't know that I would compare them. They are targeted for different demographics so I think that they would have to be different... Comparing them never came to mind until I read this...

Don't know about an Infiniti, but BMW's and Camaro comparo is a non sequitor. They are very different beasts.

While I didn't own it I considering buying a CPO 2007 BMW 335i coupe in early April 2009, the Dealer would not budge on its price or their trade-in offer for my then Camry Hybrid. I had been watching the 5th Gen Camaro through the concept days and long road to production but wasn't sure until I saw what would turn out to be my Camaro and drove it - I was hooked. Though some time had passed between the test drive of the 335i and the Camaro, I felt the Camaro was more like a sports car in terms of driving experience and certainly has design style over the beemer.
After I got my Camaro in late May I drove by the BMW dealer, the 335i was still on the lot almost two months later - glad the dealer wasn't hungry for the sale to better his offers at the time...
