Intake Showdown: Airaid w/Synthamax vs. Injen vs. Cold Air Inductions
Let me preface this by saying that I know nothing about cars. I want to make the air filter cleaning/changing as simple as possible since I know next to nothing.
It seems to me that the Airaid with Synthamax is pretty simple because I believe you just wash it, let it dry and and put the filter back in it. https://www.airaid.com/ProductDetail...ductID=251-243 I have heard that the INJEN provides good results, but im not sure if its a re-usable filter or if I would need to buy new filters for it. I see two types of Injents for the 2011 SS Camaro. Short Ram: http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/pf7016.html CAI: http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/pf7015.html Cold Air Inductions did pretty well on the CAI Testing by JannettyRacing Im not sure which intake to go with. I want something that improves the fuel economy, sounds good and is easy to maintain. Can you experts lay it out for a newb like me? Last edited by shortstop4; 01-02-2011 at 07:56 PM. |
