Ditto Jedi. I agree. "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" comes to mind, it's the closest adage I could come up with . A retro/modern blend based upon the time period styling of the car fits it's overall look best. Personally, my favorite Z28 emblem of all is the 1970-1974.
