Question interior color choice

So I have my order in, I currently have a black leather interior in my Grand Prix and thought beige would be a nice change. When I was talking with some friends about this they all scared me away from it saying how dirty a light interior gets. Is this true? I didn't think leather really gets dirty that easily...or if it does it is at least easily cleaned. If I was getting cloth I could understand their argument more.

Also, if you look at the interior pics on the IBM color thread, is that what I can expect the final beige interior to look like? I wish I had seen this before I went ahead and ordered black! The dual tone looks awesome, and the fact that the carpeting is black puts even more doubt that the light interior will get dirty-looking...since that is the only area I could foresee getting stained.

Anyways, hopefully I can get some opinions soon...might need to call the dealer and change my order to beige. Hope it does not push me back in line for allocation!

I had tan leather seats in my first Sky and never had a problem keeping them clean... I used Meguiers Leather cleaner/conditioner once a month...

I changed my order to the beige 2-tone after seeing at the auto show. It's beautiful. If you put leather conditioner on it, it will be fine. Cloth stains, but leather doesn't very easily.

Tan is one of the EASIEST interiors to keep clean, Trust me, had a few with tan and I love it. Now dark colors show dirt more.

I have a white interior (1969 Z/28) and have no problem keeping it clean. Just depends on how fanatic you are about keeping it clean and being careful.

My exterior will be IBM. For whatever reason, that choice was easy. The first pics of it I saw looked so good, it looked like the paint was still wet! If the interior had been solid beige, I think I would have gone with black...but seeing the two tone, I am feeling ready to change my order.

That's the combination that was at the Cleveland show - IBM with beige interior. That's the one that made me change my order to beige. It's a matter of choice, but I think it looks great.

The beige is very good looking....really looks good with the IBM...also would with Black or Red Jewel... I like the 2 tone alot. The only thing is that it is not "sporty" to me...The thing will look great with any color and "It is your choice!"
