Hiya birm. I was wondering where you ran off to.

Make sure your head bolts and holes are bone dry before you install them or you'll crack the block.

searching for some opinions on best camshaft for my new setup(max effort with some town and highway driving not dd but would like to keep it streetable to be able to drive to the movies,dinner,and parties on occassion) tsp offered there 231/236 cam and when i said i wanted a bit bigger they gave me these numbers 242/255 636/642 lsa 113. what would be yalls perfect cam?.... Now that i put my engine question in what have you guys been up to i could def need some burgers right now work is suicide worthy boring right now.

I'm gonna find us a nice way to patch in this week at the lake zeke. I'll download the hpt trial and figure out how to set it up too.

Make sure you re-torque your header bolts to 18 ft/lbs after a few heat cycles.

No way the 242/255 is going to clear without flycutting!

Well it depends on the piston he goes with but it might be too much overlap for a sc application though.

Even with my -2cc heads I still had plenty of Ptv

You need to get a max effort sc style cam bro.

Get a custom cam and call BTR and get one.

427 will be good to clear some big cam. I do agree too much overlap for boooooost.
