Very true. Just cause you have a 160* thermostat doesn't mean your car will run at 160*. Hell, with out changing your fan settings it probably won't run any cooler than a stock thermostat.

I'll more than likely put one in. I've asked Andy over at ADM and he said Yes.....add one. He hasn't steered me wrong yet and he has plenty of experience with LS motors.

it should run cooler until you are sitting still with no airflow. then, yes, your fans wont come on till they are programmed, but while you are moving, if the t-stat is working, you will be running cooler.
