Best Mods Next?

Hey I have a 2011 LS and have a RotoFAB CAI and MRT v1, with some cosmetics done as well, but I want to try and balance performance and appearance mods...so...WHAT NEXT?

I just do not know what do invest in next? I want to be careful of my warranty (Im only 20 and cant afford a big fix...) so, any suggestions? Tuner? Suspension?

Any ideas? Thanks!

Go for RX Catch Can. Those LLT engines are quite dirty.

You could also do lowering springs.

Thanks! Ill have to look into it!

Also, would the suspension kill my warranty? Seems like a big thing to do?

I put one on mine a couple of months ago, and have YET to see ANY oil come out of it. It's a DAILY driver, and I put about 80 miles/day on her. May be a waste of money...

What would you reccommend to put on next? I have exhaust, CAI and some cosmetic stuff, but I want next to be a performance mod...

lowering springs will not kill your entire warranty. It will though void your suspension part of your warranty more then likely (depending on dealer).

Look at rims and lowering springs after you get headers and after that cat-back exhaust.

FSUcamaro? good man!!!!! Thinking about changing my tag to 31 to 7 ... then again of course after we win again Nov 2011.

As for me... gotta be rims and a drop gib stated... although, I would do headers AFTER the drop and rims. I would keep the warranty just for a bit longer to make sure you have no issues. I love my headers, but there are days I wonder if my shiz just went to crap.. how the hell would I afford a new transmission or something along those lines.

For me... the order goes audio first followed by exhaust, wheels, drop, headers.

My buddy went the same route as you, he wanted this car as a weekend car and didn't want to drop 30k+ for something he wouldnt drive everyday. So he threw some great audio in it (which I see you already did) axle back and lowered it with 20 inch rims. It looks friggin incredible. Granted, a nice set of wheels will run you a bit on price, but those steels gotta go man. I don't mean any disrespect, but a good set of wheels and 1 inch drop makes this car look mean as HELL!

If you want to do performance first with no appearance concerns... do the drop (trust me, the way this car handles after a drop with some sway bars is lights out, man). You can do the drop without springs for about 500. THe problem with headers is they run around 1k, usually require a tune, and will void your powertrain.

This is awesome. Thanks man, this is exactly what I was looking for. I was looking into doing shorty headers to somewhat keep my warranty...then maybe hi-flow cats? I duno what the warranty says about that, but thats because I was under the assumption lowering it voided my suspension too? But no? Cuz I know she needs to be lowered, and the rims have got to go, but, its in progress...

also, how do you lower it without springs?

Based on your statement. Tuner would not be an option to even consider. Tune it and warranty on power train is gone. You can do a bunch of interior mods or even under hood mods for a very nice price.
