Wuiquen,

I apologize for what you're experiencing with the driver information center. Have you considered taking the vehicle to a GM dealer to have this inspected? I'd be more than happy to set up a visit for you. Feel free to message me regarding your concerns so that I may assist.

Regards,

William R.

Had that happen to me about a month ago. Shut the car off. Next morning went out, all was working fine. Never has happened again.

The owners manual says this:
Quote:

Compass Messages CAL
–––
This message is displayed when
the compass needs to be calibrated. See Compass on page 5‐5.

Three dashes will be displayed if the compass needs service. See your
dealer for service.

steph09,

Sorry to hear about this occurrence. If you believe the vehicle should undergo an official diagnosis of your concern, feel free to message me privately and I'll reach out to the necessary dealer's customer care specialist who is the best solution to resolving customer issues at the dealer level.

Go to an empty parking lot and go around in circles a couple of times. Stop the car turn the ignition off and then start it again. If that doesn't work take it to the dealer.
