The squeaking came and went, mostly at low speed, for the first two summers. Come the third summer, it was gone. Glad I didn't have the dash ripped apart.
As for clicking in the fan, that's debris, and inevitable from time to time in any car. |

I had the same noise on my 2013. The dealer just replaced my blower motor today. That fixed the noise.

I had the chirping noise in mine as well. The first time, the dealership cut the plastic housing off so they could replace it under warranty. Sound gone. A year and a half later, sound is coming back again. Car is now out of warranty so I'll have to fix it myself.

Perhaps this is a common motor than can be ordered from another source, or tear the motor apart and see if the bushings are replaceable (assuming the shafts aren't toast). I've driven lots of Chevy's recently and the Camaro is the only one with a noisy blower motor(?) |

I vacuumed out behind the cabin air filter which I accessed from the outside engine compartment. It was very easy to do. Leaves sometimes get sucked into there.

Mine just started doing this last month-- I have a SGM V6. How much out of warranty would this cost to get fixed with the dealer? It's very annoying...

Mine does it too. Told the dealer and they couldn't hear it, the problem is after you shut the car off, it doesn't always make the noise when you turn it back on.

Cost to replace would prob be like 400 at a dealer.
Part can be bought for 80 or so but dealer will charge much more and it's labor intensive. |

I have had a noise like this for months now. Two dealerships have been unable to detect it, as apparently they have mixed luck in recreating it.
Some potential differences: 1- My noise goes away after car has been driving for 5-10 minutes 2- Also happens when the AC is off from the start Number 2 makes me think it's a different problem. Anyone somehow have this noise even when AC if off? Thanks
