Washer fluid?
Picked up my 2SS/RS the other day and there is no windshield washer fluid in the car. I was wondering what does everyone use? I know there is fluid specifically for it but some people I know claim that just water is the best thing to use. What does everyone think?

Water is probably the best thing - untill the outside temp hits 32.
If you are in an area of the country that doesn't freeze, you can use water. If you have freezing temps, use washer fluid. Or switch back and forth between the seasons. |

Washer fluid seems to work a tad better in getting the bug guts off, at least around here. To the OP in Baton Rouge, try straight water first and see if that works for you. If not, go pickup a jug of wiper fluid.

This has been my favorite for years... rarely have to use the wipers, and when I need to get bugs off or get rid of ice quickly, this stuff sure does the trick! I love it And it's cheap.. usually like $3 I think... |

RainX makes some sort of wipe for the inside of the windshield too, don't they?

Are you sure it was empty? When I picked mine up it took a couple pushes to get the fluid all the way through the new lines. I thought it was empty the first couple times.

dude this is little extreme, its just a car. Im starting to find it comical when people are asking what is good washer fluid for the camaro(whatever you use in rest of your cars, nothing special about this thing) I mean next its going to be whats the best vacum to use on this car or what brand of window cleaner is safe for the car. I can tell you water will not get bug juice off of you car as well as washer fluid. Not torching you man, just people so scared to do anything to this car.
