V6 Muffler Delete

Does anyone have this on their car or know of a video of one without a muffler?

That guy used some kind of resonated tips which he believes helped the overall sound.

that sounded ok, so if you do a muffler delete would you have to do any kind of tune? Sorry if its a dumb question but I was just wondering if the lack of back pressure would effect anything?
I know when it comes to motorcycles (fuel injected) you can change the exhaust without worrying about anything but if you change exhaust and intake you need to add a fuel management system.

I like the sound of the stock mufflers, but I wish they were just a tad louder. Anyone here mod their stock mufflers somehow?

I agree. If they sounded like they sound when it does its first 45 sec warm up all the time. I wouldnt upgrade.....But after that warm up is done, you dont hear anything.

like a honda? Idk what you did, but mine doesn't sound nothing like a honda, not even comparable. The video doesn't justify the sound of the muffler delete. You really got to hear it in person. My muffler shop chopped off the mufflers and added straight pipe all the way back, finished with 4in resonated tips. I'll get a new vid made asap.

question...all the way back? So you cut out more than just just mufflers? you put a straight pipe all they way back to the cats? Did you keep the stock resonators? The H-pipe? When you say all the way back it sounds like more than a simple muffler delete....

And you also added a "resonated" tip... so again, not a simple muffler delete... sound like you added a resonator at the end of the pipe...

I have heard a simple muffler delete... we tried that on m car... simply replacing the mufflers with a piece of pipe and sticking just a regular tip on the end... it was bad... and I don't mean that in a good way... to each his own... but a simple muffler delete had us it sounded so awful...

I'm not sure what it would sound like on a V6, but the guy I bought mine off of (2SS) did it and it sounds amazing. I'm sure there is a difference in sound but mine definitely does not sound like a honda.

I agree! I was going to do the same thing with a Loudmouth Axle back and when I heard what she sounded like I changed my mind. Now I have a brand spanking new system sitting in a box in my trunk. She sounded awful with it. I opted for a FlowMaster.
