2010 Camaro 2LT V6 Aero Turbine and Magnaflow Exhaust

I recently had a custom exhaust installed on my Camaro and I was using the info. from this site and youtube for videos and sound clips of the best one that wasn't going to break my pocketbook.

So, I ordered 2- Aero Turbine AR25 Resonators online and 2- 2.5" to 4" Pypes Stainless Tips online. As soon as they came in, the next day I had my Camaro at the shop at 8:30am. It took them till 1pm to finish, but that was because a guy was having a MBRP installed on his 09 Silverado.

Anyways when I picked the car up and ran her around the block for the first time I was impressed just by the differt sound from stock, but othe thing sounded like an import. At idle she sounded great but at higher rpm's she got real raspy and the wifey wasn't having it.

So, the next day I took it back in first thing in the morning and had them install a dual in dual out magnaflow in replace of the resonators. As you can tell by the pics I had them rip out the old resonators and the mufflers and they ran 2.5" from the H-pipe back.

Here are a few pics and my youtube videos for sound. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

For anyone that wants to know the AR25 Resonators ran me about $119 shipped. The tips were about $55 shipped. And the install was $200.

When I changed my mind and I swapped the resonators for the Magnaflow it cost me another $125 installed.

A total of $499 and with the magnaflow dual in dual out she sounds like the GMPP, Corsa and the Borla Exhausts. You will not get a V8 sound from a V6 so why spend the money except for more HP of course.

With the AR25's installed, it looks like you replaced the stock resonators rather than adding the AR25 in place of the stock mufflers. If you were trying to mimic the sound of "scrming"'s V6 with the AR25's, maybe that's why you weren't happy with the sound.

Hey, Silver the second vid is the Magnaflow and both of the setups are H-pipe back.
On the V6 the headers are 2.25" the cats are 2.5" and then after the h-pipe they drop back down to 2.25". So I ran 2.5" from the h-pipe back for more cfm. I guess you could call it a cat-back. Not sure.

Very true rolnslo, but when I dropped the car off the first time I told the owner how I wanted it, but when I picked it up it was already too late. I think thats why he gave me the Magnaflow for so cheap(labor).

Nal, I noticed that too when I made the video, but it wasn't actually doing it after I checked. Has to be the Camera.

Yes it does sound very good w/ the Magnaflow 2 in 2-out ONLY...
If the sound gets too loud for you: put those 2-AERO AR25s back on after the Axle then it may sound even BETTER.... (just my thought) It may sound better than the Orig.Thread: Axle-Back W/ the 2 Aero25s -Which sounds Very good !

ALSO... You should have your man Put a CROSS BRACE back ( I know the orig. will not fit now) You can buy one, I have seen them, or have him make one.........

THANKS for sharing............

I got a question. What would it sound like IF you took the ar25 resonator and replaced the stock resonator THEN used the magnaflow to replace stock mufflers??? Working together they could sound amazing AND no one on here has tried this. While you still have it all, I would try it.
