Nope. They might have looked nice "back in the day" on some cars, Mustangs had them, but not so good on your new 1LE. But everyone has their own style.

Will you be tracking the 1LE? If so, I view them as a hazardous object. Otherwise, it should be fine, and doesn't look too bad on a Camaro, it's just not for me.

Thumbs up

I had them on my '79 Z/28 that I bought new in '79. I think the brand was "Lift Louver." I had the aluminum model that you unlocked with a key, lifted and cleaned the glass underneath. I don't remember what happened, but I tired of them, or they went out of style, and I removed them. Even where there was foam padding, the louvers etched/scratched the rear window glass. You can still see the etching today, (I still have the car.)

That said, I might consider them on my '13, but in the long run I think they will damage the rear window glass. I still wouldn't want the plastic version.

Just my $0.02!

Tara

I have them on my 1982 Z28 and they look good...I have the Creger full wrap version, not the 3 piece flat side version. I like them. Probably will not put them on my 2014 right away...but may consider down the road.

Gross....not for me. Might look better in black like the originals back in the day.
