Getting auto also.

Plus just got this note from fbodfather:

I hope that is not true since I ordered an auto. If it is I may need switch to stick.

Let me know as soon as you can.

Thanks

Scott

Below is fbodfathers responce:

They do not sound the same -- and one of the reasons for this is that AFM -- obviously -- allows the engine to run in 4 cylinders....so we had to specially tune the AFM cars.......

I would not say that they sound wimpy!!!

Selling Above Sticker

The dealer I bought my Camaro from originally stated they were going to get $5K over sticker! I reminded them that I had bought my last three vehicles (two Silverado’s and a Buick Century) form them for over $80K total, and now you want to screw me on my dream car? I went to another dealer in town and he choked for about two minutes before he said he was more interested in securing additional allotment than screwing his customers for the extra $5K, however, he wasn't convincing when he answered. I went back to the first dealer and told him I was looking to buy the car from the other dealer, and it was going to be at sticker. He then stated the salesperson who told me they were getting over sticker was incorrect and that he would sell it to me at sticker. By then I knew what pricing was (thanks to this great site) and was able to buy it at sticker.

no, they'll just take away the AFM and give us all regular LS3's in our autos. which would then get stalled to the heavens. lol

and by stalled, im refering to torque converters...

^ You are one messy dude!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fact is, most of the leaked info I've seen here, has been dead-on balls accurate.

Weight. Ding!

Engine choices. Ding!

SS priced like a G8 GT and G8 GXP. Yes, DING!

And on and on.

I bet they ARE having some kind of issue, and I also bet they'll have it worked out long before it delays any deliveries.

The L99 is just an LS3 with AFM thrown in. It will be OK.

That's a good story! That's was being informed as a buyer can do for you.

As long as the car gets made, delays don't bother me too much.

I would be more concerned about it getting made and being a quality car. I would rather it be delayed than have issues.

I heard from an insider friend of a friends brother-in-law's second cousin twice removed that the dodge and ford boys are quaking in fear because of date February 16th.....I don't dare name names, most of us have seen the wrath of the black suburbans against info wielding chevy salesmen.... I PLEAD THE 5th! (5th GEN that is.....)
