carbon fibered the bowties

Really hate the gold bowties, so bought some thick carbon fiber vinyl and gave it a shot. happy with the results.

That looks very precise! How did you manage to do that? Which brand of carbon fiber vinyl did you use? That looks much better than mine with plasti-dip for sure.

I actually got it on ebay searching for carbon fiber bowtie. It came in two sheets. I cut it close to size, stretched it over bowtie. Used thumbnail to score the outline of the gold insert. Used a razor blade to actually trim it, and then a hairdryer to activate the glue on the vinyl. It was quite a bit harder on the front bowtie vs the back one. Much sharper angle on the front
