No longer a Camaro owner. I'm a vette owner now and I still think the rear looks like sh*t.

I like other parts of the car and the hood extractor was a nice attempt at a functional mod, but it's poorly implemented and looks like something you'd buy out of Jegs and saws-all in to place.

My question is why? What was wrong or out of date on the Gen 5 that warranted restyling or refreshing? Were sales slipping, or did some research suggest this would be a good thing?

Still need to see more pics, but so far it's not looking too good. And this is surprising given how good the other GM debuts have been: CTS, Corvette, trucks, Impala...

ehhh, dont know, the only thing i really like about this one is the hood...IMO if it aint broke, dont fix it

This is the SS facia, im sure the V6 will be different.

In any case, it would still be very easy to tell between the 2.

I like the more agressive "brow" in the front - the area where the headlights are is decent, the chrome strip is a bit overkill (unnecessary).

The bottom grill area could have used a bit more attention to enhance the symmetry of the car.

Tailights look half-assed, like someone made them in their garage and slapped them on hastily.

The whole back looks changed, from the trunk lid to the missing "bump" in the rear bumper that GM told us was "necessary for 5mph crash ratings" and is now smooth (or so it seems).

I don't understand what prompted this change or why they did it so badly. It seems like they had a good thing going, and then they just threw some things on that they had lying around...

If this is the direction that GM is going for the 2016 Camaro then I will probably buy another used car instead of waiting for the Z28. "GM, I am dissapoint..."
