haha...Christmas shopping. I didn't really have any before pix since the garage was such a mess...and didn't think about pix until we we well under way. But yeah. Over Christmas, I went nuts at Sears.....actually, it was black Friday (oops). There were some AWESOME deals to be had and I put down just over a grand for everything....and it was WELL worth it.

Great place you have to work and detail how much wattage are you pushing through lights ? hahahahahaha

I was hesitant to do the blue on the ceiling, but said screw it....why not.
It actually looks really cool in person and gives the car this awesome bluish hue to it when under the light. And yeah...wattage in the lights? Um...not sure. 162 watts, I guess?

I got one of those Craftsman brake stools for Christmas and love it.

Oh...I use that thing all the time. can't believe it took me THIS long to get one. Love the magnetic bucket I put on the bottom too. That thing is a huge help.

You know what really sucks? A Tahoe COULD fit in there! ...and I want to put one in there!

We now have the Camaro paid off....which, is obviously a good thing. But, now have to weight out which is more important....the Tahoe or a nice 3 acre plot of land EXACTLY where we want it in the hill country. We could either get the land or Tahoe. Tahoe could be paid off by this upcoming Jan...free and clear. Or, we could have 2/3's the land paid off. DAMN...decisions, decisions... Since it's Dana's turn, I put the ball in her court. She said land. Yep. That is, unless she gets a job. If she gets a job, we can have both done in 3 years time. Now THAT is what I'm talking about!

I'll be headed back to Fort Hood from Afghanistan in late July and I'll be selling by '07 Tahoe in the August/September time frame if you're interested.

I'm going to sell it so I can pay off my Camaro and buy a new truck.

Maybe that way you can get your land AND a Tahoe?

After reading your post in your build thread about transforming your garage, I got inspired.

Here's a before:



And here are a couple of after:





As you can see my garage is about the same size as yours and cleaning up the floor is going to be a challenge. I'm thinking about renting a pressure washer and some good cleaning solution and go at it. I'm told that kitty litter is good to use in the garage as well. Lighting is definitely on my list as I want to be able to get my SS out of the hot Texas sun when I'm detailing. HD is just a stones throw away fortunately. Besides, my garage needs to be presentable when I start hosting installapaloozas right?

Well, if the wifey gets a job, we can do both for sure. But she has her heart set on VERY specific options and we're probably going to buy as new as possible with as few miles as possible. Appreciate the offer though. that is...unless it's like an LTZ with SUPER low miles and is loaded?

HD being a stones throw away could be a VERY VERY BAD THING. Yes...I know this...

Garage looks good! And I know what you mean about cleaning the garage floor being a challenge... I have paint, oil, ...oh hell, everything on the floor. ...which .... is why it's gonna look so dang good once it's done. But, it's gonna be hell cleaning it. :(
