Thanks all. What's not in my signature is that I am running the BTR cryo-treated, micro-polished rockers with the BTR trunnion upgrade. I was going to go with che bushings, but opted for these for now.
I'm sure someone here is concerned with running this much lift on otherwise stock rockers. I am only slightly concerned, as the cam was recommended to me by pat g knowing full well, and confirming, that stock rockers would be used.
I was also informed by the guys at Cunningham that their stage 3 cam has more lift than mine and they run stock rockers without hesitation. So far I'm confident they will be fine.

Nice build. Makes me kind of regret not going bigger with mine. I went with 229/236 113. What kind of spring life are you expecting? The main reason I went small was to prolong the life of the springs. Sweet build!

Post some videos of you flogging it on " a closed course" hahha I want to hear it pull under load and fry some tires.

I'll be happy if I get 12-15k, to be honest, although I can honestly say I have no idea. If I start feeling it lay over up top I'll change the springs. Heck, I already have a spare set ready. $200 in springs and a days work is worth it once every year or so to keep the performance up.

I think you are over thinking that part. I run 650+ lift, and have 20k miles now on my springs/cam no issues. Then again 1.8 ls7 rockers, but nothing special.

Those springs should last a long time with that cam.

Great numbers. You're making nearly as much power as my LS7.

I think you're right. But at least I'm prepared for it

Doesn't make me any less jealous. I'm already thinking of finding an ls7 block to build on. My dad has never built an LS from the ground up, only every other v8 known to man. It would be a fun project for us.

I know you said Pat G proprietary lobes but what are they comparable to and how do you plan to use the car. I ask because it will have a major impact on how long those springs will hold up. You've got the right idea about being ready to change them out. Just don't wait too long. I had a spring fail at only 9700 miles (TEA) and I attribute that to the aggressive lobe profile and a lot of hard runs on road tracks. Bottom line, an ounce of precaution will save you a ton of money.

Good HP numbers for sure. I'll bet it is a blast to drive.

Ah, then it's probably best to get it from the horses mouth - what Pat said about the lobes:
"On the attached sheet, please find your custom 232/240 .654/.626" 110LSA +2 camshaft recommendation. This cam profile features PG385 custom lobes on the intake and PG368 lobes on the exhaust ground under license by Cam Motion. The .385” lift lobes take advantage of lightweight intake valves and/or high rate springs to offer the highest horsepower available today. The PG385 lobes will give very high valve lift while offering improved high rpm valvetrain stability, lower valvetrain noise, and longer valve spring life compared to competitor’s cams lobes of the same general lift. The PG368 lobes on the exhaust give high valve lift while offering reductions in valvetrain noise and improved high rpm valvetrain stability with solid stemmed exhaust valves. These .368” lift lobes on the exhaust will typically allow this cam profile to rev higher than Comp XE-R, LSL, LSR, LSK, and XFI hydraulic roller lobes"

Sorry! Didn't see that there was a new post here. I'll see what I can do about pics this weekend. Thank you guys for all your help. The first heads getting stolen made for quite the fiasco! Appreciate you guys making me whole again.
Anyway, I just hit the 1k mile mark since doing this work and am happy to report no issues whatsoever as far as the heads, cam, and valvetrain are concerned. However, I am already looking into a little project build starting with a forged 418+ LS3 short block from you guys, with plans to port my stock heads and go with an LLSR setup and E85 conversion. Because, well, why not!
