Bowtie Blackout

I've read that the bowties in the back are the same as the 5th Gen. Are the front bowties the same size too? I want to buy something like this

http://www.amazon.com/Bowtie-Overlay...=camaro+bowtie

Would that work?

It's suppose to be the same size and all from the gen5. One thing I do not know of is if the bowties have the texture on them which i think will make it a pain to stick anything on. Glen would know better.

You can get wrap to stick, but for what they cost, I'd buy the gm black badges.

No, the vinyl will not stick to a textured bowtie. The bowties are the same as the 2014-2015 5th Gen. We got an alternative for ya.

As long as you got a 2014-2015 you sure can. The 2010-2013 emblems are different.

Just an idea, maybe go grab some type of outdoor paint in a can and paint it on with a brush? Feel free to call me crazy lol. Or maybe the caliber paint kit might work. I am just spit ballin here!

If you're gonna buy them painted I recommend River City Creations. When I get my 6th gen that's where I'll be getting mine. Lupe did my 5th gen ones and they were top notch! Good pricing as well.

Use plasti dip. Get a cheap can at auto store like NAPA. It lasts, is super easy to apply, looks great, and peels off when you're sick of it!

Plastidip works great and I use it in a lot of places. I've done wheels ,badges and everything else. But it should not be confused with something like River city does, using base automotive paint and clearcoat...just ponting out its two diff animals. I used plastidip yesterday to hide some color on the splitter install:
