Vibration/Buzzing inside dash
I hear a vibration/buzzing noise from inside the dash during light acceleration. I have a 2LT/RS (automatic). Does anybody else have this problem?
It only happens during light acceleration (especially when the cruise control is maintaining speed up a slight incline). The dealer hears the noise but has no idea how to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks!!! |

have a passenger start putting pressure on different parts of the dash when the noise is present and see if you can locate it that way.

I have the same issue, and it seems to be the chromeish trim rim that loops over the desk on my V6 2LT Cyber Gray

Dash noise on passenger side
I have a snapping sound coming from the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle. Returned to the dealer for a fix (referenced the technical bulletin mention on this site) but the noice is unabated. I think it may be temperature sensitive. Didn't have this problem in the summer and haven't had it in 35 below weather. Seems to occur when the temperature is in the 40s and 50s. Any suggestions on how to fix would be appreciated.

Man, I've got an aftermarket exhaust and it sounds good BUT I think the harmonics will make it buzz sometimes from the dash and somewhere around the console area.

It appears a few of us have this problem. Has anybody come up with a fix?

I have a similar buzz at low RPMs in the cold weather. But it seems my noise is somewhere in the middle of the dash near the windshield.

do you know what they put the check valve on? and did it fix the gurgling sound? i have that sound too and im assuming it has to do with the heater core.

I believe they put the check valve on one of the heater hoses. I didn't look for it. But since I bought it in I have not heard the gurgle noise.
