Wanted to know if my brother could take the vinyl stripes off his stock kit and reapply it to his aftermarket one.

I would give you an educated answer but i seriously know nothing about paints or vinyls.

I would say no because the adhesive that is used on the initial install would be very degraded by the uninstall process.

You figure out a way to take off vinyl strips with out destroying them you better patent that @#$% and make your million. The only way those are coming off is by peeling them off and/or using a heat gun and both methods are going to destroy the vinyl…

Normally no. As already mentioned the adhesive on the back will no longer be up to par and would come off while driving and the removal of vinyls normally tends to stretch and distort the vinyl to the point that even if it was put on another car, it would look like crap.

If using duct tape to reattach the pieces counts as reusing the stripes, then you can.
