"Door Open" when it's closed

So out of no where today I was driving down the road and on my DIC it shows "Door Open" (Passenger side).

I got out, opened and shut the door multiple times, etc.

Before I take it to the dealer is there anything obvious to look for? It's only got 600 miles on the odometer.

Never heard of a door being ajar, but I got a Window not seated properly message while driving and than it reads open and shut window. I did and the message disappeared. Gotta love technology. Sounds like maybe your door sensor is flaking out. Try opening both doors at the same time and than shutting them.

Bad door switch/sensor most likely. Or the wiring in the door.

So did you get this fixed? I'm having the same problem. Dealer attempted to fix it by replacing my window motor but that didn't work so I get to go back tomorrow to try it again.

A window motor won't fix the door ajar message lol. Most likely it's the door latch. Uncommon for the mileage but not unheard of. It could also be the door harness pass through connector. I've had a lacrosse on PDI with the last issue. The dealer should be able to find it fairly quickly.

Try the door harness pass though connector first. I had key in ign chime going off, wouldn't stop, until I put this connector on and off to establish continuity.

It ended up fixing itself by the way. Then 3 weeks later it randomly popped up for a second and has been away since. Sorry I forgot to reply!

So what did you end up doing? Any of the suggestions?

Still have no idea what caused it. To this date I've still not had any issues.

Wow I actually just figured out why mine was doing that and acting crazy . Dumb me had forgotten to tighten back down the jump off bolt under the hood that goes to the positive battery cable ! I have halos and have them wired directly to that bolt right now and didn't hook them up this morning thus leaving that bolt loose. But now somehow it shorted out my bright lights .. hopefully just a fuse bc I just bought the bulbs ..
