I'm thinking of straight piping my V6. I've having doubt only because I'm worried if this will mess with my computer.
How it affected your computer?
btw Sounds great!

If you dont mess with the cats you'll be fine, however with out an x-pipe it will be rasp city.

Hey guys, new to the camaro5 forums but just thought I would share my thoughts. I did the exhaust described in the first post with the only difference being that I have bbk LT headers and high flow cats. I had the shop but in a MF resonated x-pipe and the 3" from there back with 4" tips. Like the other member said at idle through around 2500 it sounds really nice and it also has a nice tone above that if you are easy on the gas. If you stand on it you may wake the neighbors.. I do love the gurgley popping between shifts (6 spd) and how deep it is but I think if I could do it over again I may go with 2.5" to tune down the megaphone effect of the 3" piping. Hopefully that helped out anybody with LT headers!

Ps... I do have a vitesse throttle controller and it sounds much better just driving around in Eco Mode

Why I say this?

Because I've heard multiple people mistake a V6 for a V8. End of story.

Now will a LT header V6 sound like a LT header/cammed V8 at idle. Heck no.

Can a V6 sound like a V8 all the time. Heck no.
Definitly agree with this
