Car window is going down when door opens but is not going up when door is closed. Display says open then close drivers window. Yep, tried that....nothing changed.

its indexing and needs to be reset most likely from .....? running the window up and down or closing and closing the door several times, or turning the car off and on........I know someone here knows the answer and it will fix its self when done.

Mine did this once. It took a couple of attempts, but after it indexes you're good to go.

Greetings,

Sorry to hear of the difficulties with your window. Let me know if you need to enlist the assistance of a GM dealership for a diagnosis. I'd be happy to set up a visit and monitor the process on your behalf! You're more than welcome to message me anytime for assistance or with questions.

Regards,

William R.

The manual should have the instructions to re-index your window.

You might have to it 2 or 3 times with the door closed. I been working on electrical system and disconnected the battery numerous times with door open. When I turn it on I will get close window then open it. I have to do it a couple of times to get indexed.

Bring window all the way down, (hold switch in down position 3 seconds)
Bring window all the way up, then hold the switch for three seconds, Done.
