I bought the Flowmaster Axle back, but decided I want the catback...

Does anyone know where I can buy the midpipe and/or everything else that comes with the catback package?

The axle back american thunder is currently installed.

As far as I know Borla is the only one that offers the parts to make their axleback a catback. You could just spend the $130 for the Edelbrock X pipe and complete your system. Welding required though.

Very neat. I noticed it is 409 SS as well which is what stock and flowmaster is.

Is the Flowmaster catback an x-pipe? Any differences between x-pipes or midpipes?

I would just keep the stock hpipe and do a resonator delete. Yes the flowmaster is an xpipe catback.

I'm going to get an x-pipe.

Is it true(for a non FI setup), that a 2 1/2" mid exhaust can be better then a 3"?

3" being better for forced induction?

No big differances in them imo, 3" are better if your going for big power later. I also think they sound better. There are tons of debates laying around here about pipe sizes no one seems to win them lol...
