Bmr extreme sway bar
I currently have all the bells and whistles on the rear of my camaro without going drag suspension. Mostly adjustable stuff.. with that I have the bmr extreme sway bar and I have a few issues and concerns
1. What is everybody running theirs in to daily drive. I have mines on the middle setting and I'm hearing that's too tight for daily driving. (More of Weekend car now) but it ride rough. Don't know if it's from that or lowering 1in or whatever lol 2. I can't seem to keep the bolt in that holds the bushing in place. Currently emailing bmr to purchase a new bushing because I busted 1 lol 3. How hard it is to adjust it if I was to go to a low setting Any advice and ideas are appreciated I got all the suspension because I plan on boosting it soon. Currently cammed, 3.91, 4k stall I do track and Mexico racing |

Hi Chri55 - I have that same bar and run it on the hole farthest out for street driving and the only trip that I made to the strip since installing it. It does ride rougher for sure even on that setting and seemed to make a lot of popping noises at first.
I did have a bolt break and it nicked the aluminum bushing. When I got a new bolt for it I lengthened the rod end out quite a bit to reduce the sharp angles and that seems to have helped. I haven't tried the other holes with it yet but it wouldn't be hard at all. Just need to mark and count any turns made with the rod end (if needed) so you know where to return it. Roy

Thx a lot. I thought the popping was coming from my 3.91 with the jre double clutch but I'm glad to know it's the suspension.. I move into my house Wednesday so now that I have a garage I'll get out there and change the bushing and see if that softest setting ease the rough ride a little... wonder why it pops like that |

Sure thing! My assumption was that with the rod end all the way in its causing it to have extreme movement resulting in the slam/popping noise when its moving. again, thats an assumption. Anyways, what I did was count the number of turns the rod end will come out, put it back in all the way, the turned it out to the halfway point and tightened the nut up. I will check the measurement this afternoon or if I get a chance between calls today.
And congrats on the house & garage!

Ok, so its not quite halfway out but there is 8.5mm between the shoulder of the rod end and the nut.

I'm just getting ready to install the heim joints and curious what lengths roughly you guys are running for the furthest (least stiffest) hole? Basically the center to to center length. Thanks.

The linkage is adjustable but the bar moves up and down also. Just make sure u have a little preload on both sides evenly.
Im using the second hole. I had to tighten the linkage up a couple times after driving.
