Got the power steering pump changed out today. Had about a 1/2" of play in the pulley. Was going to go soon...
Also found out the noise which I THOUGHT was my power steering pump was actually my pilot bearing going out. SUPER. JUST what I had hoped for....... So I'm looking for a new clutch. Think I might go with a Monster LT1-S clutch which is basically the C7 clutch with an improved and lighter flywheel. Not sure and haven't made a final decision yet, but need to asap. This is my daily driver...gets me to and from work and I need it back together asap. Anyone else out there know of any inexpensive clutch upgrades that would work for my car? I MUST have street ability... And it should hold power should I do decide to go with some boost in the future. Any recommendations would be welcomed! |

Just saying... :grin: I ended up with the center force dyad something-or- other. It's been fine, great street manners. Little chatter when it was new, but not bad. Almost gone now 2k miles later.

Ouch! That's a lot of dough! The LT1-S is going for something like $940...ish. I haven't even looked at prices for the streetslayer's yet.

Yeah. Sucked buying 2 clutches within a week. But stuff happens.
The slayer is supposed to be the best. Basically have to wait a month to get one though.
