MRT v2.0 drone .....
like the way it sounds on the outside but the "drone" in the cabin seems pretty loud to me.......any suggestions that can help make it go away ? Would Dynamat in the trunk take out alot of it. Thanks for you responses.

45 - I know the MRT V2s are a new install for you and I told you the drone would seem loud at first (and it is, compared to stock exhaust). The drone seems to soften after a period of time. Partially because you are getting used to it but partially (I am told) because the mufflers actually "break-in" after a while and mellow out a bit. I'm much happier with mine now than when I first put them on a couple thousand miles ago. I would suggest giving them a little time before sinking money into a "solution". Just my 2 cents worth.

No drone with my Dynomax VT's but they actually seem to be getting louder as time passes, I'm digging it.

I've had mine on for s a few years (I think anyway, time flies), and they have certainly mellowed since I first put them on. It probably took around 500 miles for mine to break in.

Around 2000rpm its horrible. Some days i like it and other days i wish the exhaust wasnt there. You getting used to it is the only thing that will make it SEEM like its quieting down. |
