LT Headers coming soon... What exhaust?
What exhaust can give me a nice... snarl?
But so far looks like most people here are pretty set on Borla Atak and Corsa. How about Magnaflow? Because right now I just have a muffler delete, and there's a lot of mixed opinions on a muffler delete and getting pulled over for it being too loud. |

I have long tubes with muffler delete and just normal driving its not crazy loud, it's when your WOT when you might get in trouble with the police. Knock on wood but so far I haven't gotten pulled over for it yet lol.

Borla S-type is great with headers. I run it on my own car. We sell them at a pretty rocking price also.

I have slp lm2 and its a deep tone but not loud. There is some drone however at highway speeds but its not unbearable.

Checkout the Texas Speed header system. You can add the TSP x pipe or x pipe & exhaust with magnaflow mufflers!!

Still debating.
I guess it boils down to sound quality itself and the tones. I'm not too concerned about decibels. Clearly Corsa wins when it comes to drone free, but some people feel that at a cruising speed, even with LT's (mine will be kooks) it's too quiet. However I read here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=204082 That Borla Atak's weren't designed for LT's and brings about an "unpleasant sound" which can be kind of subjective I guess. So out of the two, when it comes to high rpm's and deceleration, does anyone know which one allows for more of that lovely popping sound? |
