Keep in mind the DA was 9xxft. My ls1 f-body clicked off a pretty good time stock (13.1 @ 108mph on a 2.1 60ft) and I was working with -2xxft DA. The LS1 12 second passes that are similar to his time were all negative DA passes from what I've seen presented. This car in similar air WILL GO FASTER.

Only a matter of time.

As stated. The Camaro SS hasn't experienced a winter racing season. The
LS1 Fbody's have had years on winters to achieve fast track times.

This winter we will most likely see mid 12s out of the Camaro SS at some of the faster tracks in the N.E.

i think you're right--- it's trap speeds are good but not incredible though. should pick up a bit with cool air.

Nice run! Bring on the e85...

You're just stabbing the clutch very quickly for shift while keeping throttle planted, right? What RPM are you clutching at? I'd be afraid of over-revving, or f'ng something up.

First - GREAT TIMES!!! WOW!!! The bar has been pushed higher. Honestly, I don't think they're going to improve too much, but hope they do. The trap speed seemed a couple MPH low, but it would be cool to see them come down a couple more tenths. It's too bad the Fall is a few months away. Who is really going to keep their car stock long enough for the Fall to get here, lol.

I think something to keep in perspective, relative to comparisons to the 4th Gen., is that this car is in a different league, at least IMHO. I'm not going to knock 4th. Gens., but though I want to see the car go faster, I think we're starting off well, especially if we're at least matching the old car's performance.

What does rev hard charge for pulls? I went to the other dyno but might do some pulls down there for comparison sake.

1 pull for $50 without wideband

or

3 pulls for $75 with the wideband

E85 will make slightly more HP and reduce knock with the proper tune.

As noted before, DO NOT PUT E85 IS A CAMARO THAT HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED FOR IT
