Anything can be done with enough cash and knowledge. Just because we see a lot of "ricer" civics doesn't mean there are a few built well.

A fast Civic is kind of like a woman with three boobs. you're not likely to see one in your lifetime. If you do, you probably wouldn't know what to do about it.
Respect where respect is due. I got beat in my IROC by a swapped crx once. If it's quick, who am I to say it's wrong?

What was or is your fastest time in your Honda (I'm guessing you have/had a Honda based off your screen name)

k series motors are no joke, heres two recent ones in the last few days tuned from a local tuner down here
all motor 329whp http://instagram.com/p/qvdLe9rZ4n/?modal=true 13.8lbs boost 620whp http://instagram.com/p/q5dcBBLZ7C/?modal=true yeah... stock they are not much but i'd take a modded one all day over a modded camaro v6, there are a bunch of 11/10 sec honda street cars down here. real threats for even the v8 boys, v6 well... lol goodluck anything can be fast, you guys just seem ignorant for your oh its just a slow honda mentality. and not a honda fan boy just respect anything thats built right and runs hard |

Im not a big fan of Honda either. I do like a nice clean NSX & S2k and some Preludes.
... Talking about stock cars though I wouldn't pick a Honda if I wanted to be the fastest.

Hate to be the dick here but this is the most ridiculous thing i ever heard. First of all, no one here is talking about a civic basically completely rebuilt and boosted up the ass. A stock si vs a stock v6 is easy pickings for a v6. Been there, done that. But simply reading paper should tell you that. Believe whatever you want, and granted paper racing isn't the best, there are plenty of real world drivers incapable of those times, however the 2011 si is a joke. From a dig is literally the only chance it has, and even that is just completely far fetched. From a roll, might as well race an aveo.

More importantly, if that is really his dyno graph (lots of reason to suspect it) look at how little power it makes below 6000 rpm. Unless it has a 6500 stall on tall geared auto, that thing will be crap at the strip.

Well the honda motor found in the 1999+ s2000 stock from the factory has a 9,000 rpm rev limit, no idea how they figured out to make this one rev 500rpm more, thats insane

and I see very few auto's around here just manual trans w/big slicks/high 2step at the track. oh and please go on about how that may not be his dyno graph, very interested |
