Which Intake do you have in your 1LE?

Looking to an Intake to my 2014 1LE. Which ones do you guys recommend, and why?

I have the AIRAID..I had it on a previous car and just like the fit/finish of it. Lots of good choices out there with similar gains. It really comes down to which one you like the best.

Since the engine is no different than in a Manual Trans SS I don't think there will really be a difference in which intakes work best. The only thing you may want to check is to make sure the intake you buy can accommodate the 1LE oil separator hose connection. This will likely involve cutting your 1LE hose connection off one end and putting a rubber hose over it to connect it to the aftermarket intake. But I have not looked into intakes yet so I'm not very up to speed on these yet.

From what I've seen CAI and Rotofab seem to be very popular.

I installed a Roto-Fab on my 14 1LE last weekend. Perfect fit and finish, and it looks pretty freaking cool!

Do any of these Intakes require any mods to other parts of the engine? Or is it a just a straight up replacement?

I sort of depends on which intake you put in. Some require the relocation of the washer fluid bottle, like mine. It isn't a big mod by any stretch. I will admit, I watched while the guys at ADM put it on, but I would have felt comfortable doing it myself.
No real mods to the engine, just making room. Definetely a do at home project.

I went with CAI on mine. Drop in installation, maybe 20 mins start to finish.

Our CAI is 100% bolt-on, no other mods required and no other parts needed. If you have any specific questions for us just shoot me a PM or give me a call. Thanks!

Regardless of which you buy, get the washer relocated and scoop.

I didn't hear my intake have that nice whistle until I relocated washer bottle and added the scoop.

I did have a cai, fit, finish, and installation were all nice

Cosmetically CAI has it hands down. I believe it has a decent gain as well from what I read.
