I think it would be great to have. I used to have HUD on my old Altima the very first year they came out...WOW that was forever ago seems like. I really missed it on my Audi when buying. If this was an option to put on the 2010 I would think about it. Maybe they will have aftermarket dash. If done at res cost might do

The HUD image seems very DISTRACTING. The image needs to be projected lower on the windshield so that it appears just above the hood of the car, not in the middle of the road. Is the position of the HUD image adjustable?

Basically, it just projects your speed ( and a few other small things ) on your window, but I would find it too distracting as I drive. I feel my eyes would be constantly drawn to it. I think the current dash board indicator is just fine for what I'm looking for and really wouldn't want to pay an extra $400 or so more for this.

That's pretty much what I was refering to when I said "( and a few other small things )" Esentially, GM should've just removed the center dash monitor and installed the HUD at no cost since it does the same thing.

I don't need to look at my windshield to know how fast I'm going .... I'm pretty sure the Speeding ticket will tell me the same and yet, still cost me $150 less than the HUD!

This is right out of some turkey's drugged out mind as I kept waiting for the driver to kill someone since you really can't focus on the road too well with this one.

A little disappointing i don't even think i will spend the extra money to get the HUD especially if i can only get it on a 2LT.

Did the SS label on the gas gauge come standard? My 2SS does not have that. Regards

I like it.

Thought it was a targeting device in the start-up mode!

Sorry George, that was simply a stock photo I had from a prototype camaro. The "SS" on the fuel guage is not available on any production 2010's as far as I know.

I agree with some of the comments made by otheres. Cool gadget, but I'm totally satisfied with my 2010 2SS and that ain't enough for me to even consider getting rid of my '10 for a '11.

Looked more like a transporter beaming in the Chevy Bowtie to me!

Great point, I agree

Meh, I wasn't excited about the HUD before the 2011 changes were announced and I'm still not impressed.
