You can get a nice house for about half your budget.

Im serious when i tell you Keller to your job will be 30-45 mins. No trafffic at all will take 30 mins ( i just went 2 weeks ago and it took me 25). Normal traffic will be 45 mins. Granted a crash will add anywhere from 15 mins to an hour on the commute.

We're just used to NOT being able to get places in any sort of hurry. If it's something that's gonna be better in a year or so, then that's something I can live with.

It's not anywhere near that bad.

They just haven't kept up with growth here, a lot less lanes than Cali and in worse condition.

With the way the market is right now, you could find a house for 250K that would be equal to a 350K house in CA.

Thanks. I will hit you up when we're in the area.

It's good to know there's a lot of options. We really can't wait to get out of LA now...

Check out lantana off of 407. It would be about 55 minutes to work.

Plus it would make it easier for me to meet up with some more C5ers! haha

I'd consider Frisco, I moved from Chicago to here. Graduated from Centennial high last year, and haven't regretted it since. Right now is a good time to buy homes..

Traffic in Dallas is hit or miss.

If you leave at 6:00am, you can be at work at 6:30am.
If you leave at 6:05am, you can be at work at 9:00am.

The place I work has 7-7 shifts. The shift following mine usually shows up between 6:00 and 6:15. He said if he waited until 6:00(am) to leave the house, he'd be here sometime after 7. Longer if there was an accident (which there usually is).
