N I G H T M A R E .......to paint problem

Any GM dealer out here, if you can tell me how to get in contact with a GM regional manager would be GREATLY appreciated!

This dealership SMITH AUTOGROUP in Fort Smith, AR is all jacked up on mountain dew! Gotta laugh to keep from crying!!

We've gotten 2 estimates on paint repair ($1700 - $1900), the dealership thinks we are in cahoots with them and that car only needs clay bar detail! If all it needed was detailing then that's what would be done. I want to ENJOY my car not see it in a body shop for repair. If car wasn't done right to cover THEIR MISTAKE then why would I want to send it back to them just to F it up even further!!!

This is almost getting to the point of having to hire a lawyer. A BRAND NEW $55000 car SHOULD NOT need this kind of work done. Shit does happen (and seems like always to me!) but like chevy dealer here said "if it did, you would NOT have been able to tell.

I am a little confused as to what the original problem was and what the dealer did to fix it and what is wrong now. How many miles are on your ZL1?

....yadda yadda yadda, I think most of us have some blemishes if the owner looked hard enough,, I know I got mine, some fisheye, but WTF....you don't see it when you stand on it...just sayin'.., and that makes it all good to go. It's not a shrine or musieum piece for the ages.

I agree, these cars are not museum pieces, with all due respect, just drive it and enjoy the ride.

If you want flawless paint then you need a Bentley or a McLaren in your life. Orange peel and overspray will be present at this price point.

I do not agree with y'all on settling on a bad paint job because this is not a Bentley. The ZL1 means a lot to GM and to all of us and they put so much into it I would think the paint should shine like a brand new penny. I had bad scuffs in my hood on pick up. To me that was WTF. I don't care if it is a 55k or 20k car.

We have no pictures though. OP hasn't shown the damage.

Just a side note to talk about the paint, one thing that annoys me is that they didn't paint all the way into the A pillar. If you look down in the crevice you can see (on my car at least) that they didn't paint it.
