4 Pack Gauges --> No 4 Pack Gauges Question

I am going opposite to popular opinion and going from the 4 pack gauges to one w/o (I liked having the tray space when I had my 1LT....).

My question is, do you lose visibility to the available battery volts? On my 1LT you could navigate the DIC to see the volts but unless I am just missing it, I didn't see that on the 2SS DIC.

I haven't seen it on my 2SS DIC , would probably need to have the BCM reprogrammed

I am holding out hope that by disconnecting the gauges that the battery page will automagically appear on the DIC

Yep, did that but didn't see the battery page (which was present on my LT).

I have 2ss and also took out the gauges. I bought a console tray on here for cheap, but NO, the gauges (bat, temp, etc.) do not magically appear on the DIC.

Sorry guys.... I passed on so many cars that did not have the gauges on the console. Had to have them as I always loved the retro look from the gen 1 cars.

the guage pack is plug and play and I can still refer to the DIC to check the volts if need be.

I am still waiting for some guru to figure out how to reprogram the DIC.

There has got to be more options available.

The handiest gauge in the rally pack is oil temperature, which will never go too high anyway unless you endurance race or lose all your coolant and overheat.

Trans temperature is 2nd if you have an auto and race, or pull a boat. Voltage and oil pressure, there are idiot lights for them.
