Sorry for the late reply. Would have gotten to it sooner if it were in 'Site Related Questions'. I moved it for you.
Anyway, did you click 'submit new thread' after ticking the new poll box? People sometimes forget/are unaware that you have to do that step as well. Its frustrated me in the past.

I didn't have it in site related questions because the pole was not site related. After my failed attempt, I just deleted the question trying to poll, but the later found out how to start a poll. Thank you though!
