CAI Intake Installed with pics!

Yeah Baby! This was the easiest mod I have ever done. Open the box, and everything was packed soooo well. The aluminum still had the plastic covering, the lexan window had the paper. The rest was all bubble wrapped and sealed. The instructions were very clear, and this thing fits like a glove. (Not the O.J. glove) This actually seals everything on the sides. It looks awesome! I started it up, and the car idles. No codes. What is strange, is that when you get in it, it reminds me of the sounds a secondary makes when you open up a 4 barrel Holley. (good ole days). It sounds deeper. The throttle seems to be more responsive. I'm going back to the dyno this week. Another benefit is that hideous airbox is gone. Anyone wondering if they should tackle this by yourself.....Hell yeah! This job is an absolute breeze, maybe 30 minutes max. I am 100% satisfied. THANK YOU, CAI and TED JANNNETTY!!!!!

I certainly have to agree with you. It was CAKE to install and certainly one of the easiest mods I have done! Unless you count putting my Tail of the Dragon sticker on my motorcycle...

Aluminum only, to the best of my knowledge. I did see a post today where someone did theirs in black powder coat. I like the aluminum color, cause now I don't have to worry about changing the engine cover until I put a s/c on It matches

I can't tell you how relieved I was when I drove it with no codes. I wanted plug and play. You'll like this piece!

A friend helped me put mine in last weekend. It was the first time I'd ever even considered attempting an engine mod, and 1 RD JEWL was kind enough to show me how to install it. It took about a half an hour and I am thrilled with the results. The car has a much quicker acceleration response and I LOVE the throaty roar I get when I stomp on it. Wheeeeeeee! Very pleased with it!
