JBA also has some CARB legal shorties for 2010-2013 Camaro's and they can make some serious HP when you
add High Flow cats. The reason everyone says shorties make NO power is they hook them up the the factory
cats and it has been proven that 20rwhp comes from cats alone.

If you buy the ARH make sure to get them ceramic coated as with all that tubing in the engine bay it will
get VERY HOT. = They include High Temp socks for ignition wires.

See build below with CARB legal JBA headers.

The ARH shorties are a good option for those in California or live in areas that follow CARB standards. Dollar per HP is expensive, but there is still a gain to be had and if you have no other choice, you have no other choice..

Feel free to call, PM or email me with questions or pricing.

Best regards,

EXACTLY! I've argued this many times with dyno sheets and videos. But like I always say it falls on blind eyes and deaf ears. Bandwagons are a big thing here on C5 and if you don't/can't ride it like everyone else you're SOL and given the sucks to be you response.....sad

Just had JBA 1-3/4 ceramic Shortys, catted mids and custom tune to the car. Peak gains of 32 hp and 24 lbs ft of tq. on a mid 80's day. Tune/headers will pass smog and the car runs and sounds great, at smog time can alwaysswap to the stock cats, if needed. As much as 1-7/8 lts with the same work done? No, but close enough and where I thought it would be.Here's the before and after. Before was 384/390 after is 416/414

Hi Normagene,
How are you liking the Noweeds since you installed it?
Any inspection issues?
Real loud?

Many thanks!

Mike

Love it! No problems/issues. Got my Inspection Sticker and as soon as I pulled out of the garage I opened them up! Hahaha, made a lot of heads turn for sure. Still prefer driving around with them only about 20% open, not too loud, but still makes a really nice rumble. At Wide Open it actually rattles my radar detector!
