arrrrrruuuuuu! Party... strange but I miss all the other stuff but when Susan mentions drinks and burgers I notice it...lol Sounds like fun.. Your neighborhood will love having us over as well. Keep us updated!

Cruise to Sterling for a car show? Garth and I are already confirmed on facebook..look under the events tab. I talked to Ken (vette guy that lives in Sterling that went with us to Harchelroad last year) He said about 100 to 150 cars and a couple Vette clubs come out for it. Depart Denver area 5:30 AM show starts at 8 to 4.. on the grass in a shady park.

Hey Clint,

We have built several of those 427 LS3's. For N/A applications. You are not the first. First one I did was in 2007.

I think he meant HIS first. Yeah there are a ton of them around. But 12 to 1 cr is out there for sure. I hope the front walls hold up on that huge angle on the deep stroke. Sure glad to see it getting close the the road though so we can feel that displacement and rumble.

^^ Thx for watching my Vid Mike Agreed, would not be rare for someone else to do a 4.1" Crank LS3 Block 427, however I have never heard of one on the road on a Camaro or Corvette.

Very cool. What kind of power output have you seen from these engines? Due to the Heads, I'm sure wont put out as much as say a done up LS7 motor, however just curious what numbers you have seen.

Thx Clint

Actually I meant the First, Again I have not heard of any around in the area that are a LS3 punched out to a 427ci.

Course there are guys in CA and Texas, and a few on You Tube that I have seen a little info on, but I think it's pretty rare by comparison VS a 416-418 Stroker, or a LSX block 427.

Regardless pretty cool to have a 427 5th Gen Camaro.

Yeah I agree it is very unique. I dont know a single person in our club that has one at this point. I know texas speed builds them though and they seem pretty bad ass from what I have seen.

We have seen 490 to 510 RWHP with Trick Flow cathedral ports and LS3 heads. I had one with some ported LS7's that I got 565. All with 11:1 compression. I think the LS7 one had more in it, but the customer wanted the car to sound completely stock so he could run in some SCCA stock engine class. LOL Not sure how that worked out for him. He never said.

Ideally it will never make what a LS7 block or similar will make with a 4.125 bore, since the larger stroke to bore ratio favors torque.

But, they do make great power and its cool you can use the factory block. I just always make sure they don't want to use any type of forced induction as the the pin height in the piston and side load on the cylinder wall is not safe with a power adder.

Good post Mike.. ^ Thats why we changed the build on Joe's car, we wanted to up the boost and not be limited on potentional HP with the thin piston and 4.1" Stroke.
