Stick vs auto muffler delete?

Is there any difference in the sound between a muffler delete with the auto exhaust vs a muffler delete with the manual exhaust?

Depends if you have tuned the AFM out or not.

I have a SLP LM1 and before my headers it sounded nice and loud. After the headers it sounded nicer and louder...then I got pulled over...great on a L99 if AFM is tuned out. With AFM it sounds absolutely terrible when AFM is on.

So if I were to buy someone's stock exhaust to do a muffler delete, if I got exhaust from an A6 it would be just as loud as an M6 even though the A6 has the resonators in it?

Noise is only a legal issue in California right?

Get the resonator removed with an X-pipe. Resonator reduces sound on the L99 to remove drone from the AFM
