18" Wheels for Drag Radials on 2SSRS
I have been looking around to find a set of wheels that I can mount up a set of P305/45 Drag Radials. I didn't want to run 20 inchers as there is a limited choice out there and a little more sidewall wouldn't hurt. Both Nitto and Mickey Thompson have a nice range of drag radials for 18" rims. I would need an 18x10 for these tires.
I know a lot of guy's are running drag radials, but I can't beleive everyone is running 20" Nitto555R. Is anybody out there running 18's with 305's? |

I'm looking for some 18s too. An easy cheap source for some track use only. Mav

I don't think the ls 18's will fit over the brembos. Better triple check.
And you can get 17's over the brembos. I have them on my car. They are the custom made sjm/bogarts. |

some 18" wheels will fit over the brembro's if they are the ones without the weigths hanging off the brake pads, I should know since I have a set of 18x8 wheels that I purchased from Tirerack to use as my winter wheels with snow tires. What I haven't come across is any answers as to who has 18x10 wheels that will clear, I've only seen a bunch of narrower stuff that people use for winter wheels.

Use a 18 x 9.5" C6 Zo6 front wheel or clone C6 ZO6 front with Zo6 offset. This has worked well for people using the 305/45r18 drag radial and clears the brakes.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the help. I found a source for 18" C6 Z06 Wheels, 18x9.5 with a 53 offset. I also found a pretty good price (I think) on a set of Nitto NT05R P305/45r/18's drag radials. Really looking forward to mounting them up and giving them a try.
Anyway, thanks for the help guy's. |

Like "Stocker just stated. The 53 mm offset is not the correct one. The 40 mm offset is what you need. Below is the link to the wheel you need. Its been posted at least 10 times so far but here you go again. These wheels bolt right up with no issues:

I have access to some low priced, lightweight 18x10 or 18x11 wheels that will clear the SS Brembos. Contact me for info, I'd be glad to help.
Tony
