Ok, what?? So having a sports car isn't practical if you can't own a truck as well? Regardless of your ridiculous judgment issues. Trucks are very expensive, use a lot of gas and not everyone wants to own them. I certainly don't and I chose my camaro and do not care what people think. She sees the rain, the shine and the snow and does just fine.

I guess I'm not practical either but at least I enjoy what I drive.

Easy there tough guy. No need to get your feathers ruffled. If you want to DD your Camaro and strap a 25' ladder to the top of it, that is your choice. I applaud you. All I was stating is that there are better options for a DD than a Camaro. Small backseat, tiny trunk, little ground clearance, etc.. I'm an outdoors kind of guy. If I only had my Camaro, it would be a little tough. Strap a deer to the roof, fold down the backseats for fishing rods, park on the road and walk 3 miles to your tree stand???

I see nothing wrong with this. the owner seemed to have tied it down great, and put padding down so the ladder doesn't scratch the roof. I don't think he/she did this for fun. Just something they had to do.

As a redneck, I think that term makes us sound low class. I prefer "Royal Order of the Crimson Nape"

At least its tied down. I've seen people try to hold stuff on the roof with their left hand. Didn't work out well.
